Welcome to Pastoral Vistas, our beautiful new home located in the lovely Candler countryside just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. This location is private and quiet, yet convenient to everything our area has to offer. There is so much to see and do in this area just west of Asheville.

We love our open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and the deck with gas grill, outdoor seating and hot tub. The fenced back yard has a firepit and is perfect for dogs. You will love the well stocked kitchen with its granite tops and ample seating. The space is private with lots of natural lighting. The beds are all new and comfy, and the master suite is large and luxurious.

Explore the many local farms, take a trip up to Hot Springs or just enjoy a scenic drive along the miles of local roads. The Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest are all within about 20 minutes of the house. The first thing you will notice is pretty drive on your way here. Highways give way to suburbs, and then farms with open fields. The house has recently been renovated and everything inside is new. We love the open floor plan and vaulted ceiling that connects the living area with the kitchen, then takes you to the back deck overlooking a lovely fenced yard with pastoral views beyond. It has a good flow and conveys a sense of relaxation and comfort.

"The rental was well stocked with great amenities and nicely decorated. The pet-friendly fenced yard is huge and terrific for dogs! This charming rental offered the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. It felt like a 2nd home. This is your place if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with nice views and about a 20-minute drive to Asheville. Easy check-in and instructions were clear. As another reviewer mentioned, stop at a grocery store in Candler on your way to the rental if you're coming in later in the evening and need food. Overall, the rental exceeded all expectations and I hope to stay again. Highly recommend!

"The property is a newer home with a huge fenced backyard that is awesome for the pups. The house was well appointed and had more than expected. "Great house with an outstanding backyard for your dog. If you’re looking for quiet, beautiful Mountain View’s and extremely comfortable beds this is your place. Getting to house is a bit of a drive from 40. Nighttime driving was not for us not knowing mountain roads. Pack supplies and food because getting backdown amounts in is 15 min. I would recommend this house to all.

"This place was perfect for my husband, me, and our 2 dogs. The back yard is awesome! Fenced in securely and private with pretty surroundings. The hot tub is privately located on the deck. It took us only 20 mins to downtown Asheville which was an easy drive. We enjoyed being able to drive south towards Pisgah Forest, and lots of stops on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. The house was clean, not cluttered, and comfortable. It was very convenient to have a washer/dryer for which we brought our own detergent. This is a great place!

Lovely getaway in the mountains

"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience staying in this home. We spent a lot of time on the porch, bbq'd and played with our dog in the yard. Highly recommend for a quiet time in the mountains. The master bedroom had the most comfy bed too!

"Booked Pastoral Vistas from Pete Key Properties in Asheville, NC. The owner of the company met us at the property to give us a quick tour and answer any questions we had. Terese the reservationist was super helpful getting everything booked. The property was 3 bedrooms 2 bath and the property was super clean and organized well. We had plenty of room and the views of the mountains were great. Loved having the fire pit out back to enjoy sitting under the stars at night while staying toasty warm. There is a hot tub being put in soon and were cannot wait to come back for another stay. The property was a great value compared to what is would have costed for a few hotel rooms, this was a great option 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, NC. Pete Key properties stayed in touch with us throughout the stay just checking in with a text here and there to see if they could be of any further service. An outstanding experience!!
