FREE activities for stays under 29 nights, including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing. Pisgah Ridge Country Cabin near Brevard is convenient to DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and all the hiking, biking, and all the other outdoor activities that make our area famous. We love our log cabin and its peaceful setting at the top of Pisgah Forest Drive. Relax and enjoy the view from the deck, and just unwind. We have a hiking trail on the property that leads down to a stream.

Everything in the house is accessible on the main level with the exception of the loft, which is up the spiral staircase. Lots of sunlight make this a cheerful space and the views make it relaxing and peaceful. We have a fire pit in the side yard as well as a gas grill, and the deck has a covered area so you can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. The open floor plan connects the kitchen, dining area and the living area which makes the house great for entertaining. The kitchen has all the pots and pans and utensils you could want, and even features a dual Keurig and Regular coffee maker so bring your pods! We are from Texas and we love coming to Brevard every chance we get. We fell in love with this house and it is our mountain getaway. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all). Be sure to check out the event calendar for the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. You should check out Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest, both a short drive away, and it takes only about 20 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. Asheville and Hendersonville are both nearby, and they feature lots of attractions if you want to take a day trip or two.

Wonderful fall getaway

"This property was just perfect for our family of four. We had the best summer vacation visiting Brevard and the surrounding area and the location of this house made it so much easier to accomplish everything on our itinerary. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we experienced secluded mountain peace while at home, but could drive under 30 mins to visit breweries, hike trails, take on Sliding Rock, ride horses, go shopping, take the kids gem mining, eat Bojangles, visit the arcade, and get groceries. The house was also very clean which is huge for me. Thank you so much :)

"Everything was more than we could of expected! We were on top of a mountain and the pups loved it! We used the fire pit one night, the kids loved the space and the layout was beautiful! "This was our second time staying at Pisgah Ridge. It was even better this time! Beautiful, clean cabin. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of towels in bathroom. Appreciate having a washer and dryer with supplies. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and s’mores outside in the fire pit. This year we had the pleasure of watching the white squirrel in the backyard and also saw deer. Looking forward to coming back next year! DuPont forest is close by. About 20 minutes to Hendersonville or Brevard.

Great time at Pisgah Ridge

"Lovely cabin, set on a paved road, with a Forrest setting. My husband, dog and I stayed for two weeks. It was a must pleasant stay The house was well equipped and we cooked every day. We were close enough to hike at the notable national Forrest and state arboretum. Close enough to visit both Brevard and Hendersonville. We took advantage of McAlls vegetable stand for wonderful produce. Pisgah Ridhe is about 8-10 minutes off a main road and although twisting it is a paved road all the way to the cabin. Plenty of room in the living area. Comfortable beds and showers. House was very clean. People at the management office very helpful. All in all a great stay.

"We loved our stay on this property! The house is located near great hikes, mountain biking, climbing, and even the neighborhood was nice to walk around in. The kitchen was nicely stocked, and the grill was great to use. I do wish there had been another couch so that all 6 of us could have cozied up in in the living room the evenings, but other than that we had no complaints!

"Just the getaway we needed; some reviews remark about how far it is from everything, but it's not like it's in the middle of nowhere. It just takes 15 or so minutes to get to town. The road is fully paved (description says mostly paved, they must have finished the road prior to our Sept 2021 stay).

"Pete, Becky & Jay were great to work with. Took care of anything that came up. The property was as described. Clean. Well stocked kitchen with regard to utensils, plates, cups, etc. A few more wine lasses would be nice. Comfortable beds, nice showers, pretty view in back. Great rear porch. WiFi worked well. Large TV in living room. Brought our own ROKU set up so did not use their Apple TV set up. AC in master bedroom and living area but not in other bedrooms. Cooled down at night so that was not an issue. Road up to house is paved, two lane albeit narrow in places, steep in places but doable by taking your time. About 1.8 miles up the hill. Good location to Brevard and closer to Dupont State Forest for hiking and biking. Can take a 5 mile mountain bike ride into the park from the bottom of the hill. Enjoyed our stay. Typically we don't go back to the same places for vacations but Pete has other properties that we would look at.

"House is well laid out; super clean; beautiful scenery. Have breakfast at the Pines Country Inn very close to this subdivision's entrance, but call ahead for reservations. As long as you don't need quick access to Brevard or Hendersonville, stay here. Easy access to Dupont Forest.

"My husband and I needed a vacation, despite COVID, and this was a great base camp. The house was clean, well-stocked, private, and comfortable. It is 2 miles up a winding road, but is paved and we navigated in our Hyundai just fine. Loved the views and the area and we will be back!

"This property was amazing. It was exactly like the photos but better. The place was very spacious way more than my family of 4 needed but we enjoyed every minute of it.
